STORY OF THE MONTH:
X-MEN SAGA: PART ONE: MUTANT GENESIS
The world is changing with time, and man is seeing the latest evolutionary step in their society. As a result humans, now known as mutants are being born. These mutants are different from their fellow homo sapiens, they are homo-superiors. They have uncanny abilities, and because of this the public fear and reject them.
Now it is believed a war is coming between mutant and mankind. While some mutants want to peace-fully co-exist with man, others are determined to start the war. The biggest question is, who will make the first move?
The book is based on the guidlines of the movie series, but is adapated into part one of a five part saga. Mutant Genesis includes such classic X-Men as Wolverine, Cyclops, Prof. X, Jean Grey, Storm, Iceman, Rogue, Magneto, Juggernaut and Pyro.
THE SHELL
In the future purgatory has grown in numbers of people. Satan has decided to use this to his advantage by creating an alternate hell, known as the shell, a world that allows dead spirits to be given a second chance to complete what they need to but never did in life. Unknown to them the Shell is actually designed to capture any spirits that enter it. However the Shell has become far more stronger than God or Satan could have ever imagined, and now its leader Scaryctose has broken it away from hell and heaven all together.
3 individuals on Earth now find themselves caught up in one of the Shell's missions, and with the help of two demons assigned to help them from Satan, they need to solve a web of mysteries that could involve letting out the biggest secret known to man, the anti-christ lives.
This book is infact the result of a concept years in the making by Karl Leschinsky and Colin Forde, and the first original story Psyclone City will feature this January. It combines sci-fi action with mystery and horror. On other notes Sabrina MacGinnis also helped with the costume design.
